The operating microscope or endoscope may be used to aid in diagnosis or during your endodontic treatment. The endoscope provides increased magnification and illumination and may be used primarily during endodontic surgical treatment (apicoectomy). It can also be a valuable instrument in the diagnosis of cracked teeth. The microscope also provides increased magnification and illumination and may be used in some phases of endodontic treatment and retreatment.

In addition, digital radiography and apex locators will be utilized during endodontic treatment. We take all radiographs using digital sensors. The image looks similar to a digital picture and can be viewed on the monitor in the operatory. Digital radiography uses less radiation than conventional x-rays and the images are stored in our computer system as part of your file. Apex locators help determine root length.

To protect our patients and to streamline our sterilization process we have installed the latest in sterilization systems.

We have also installed an amalgam separator in our dental vacuum system, a proactive decision reflecting our regard for the environment, installed ahead of regulations.
